2012: Don’t Rush the Brush

Projects
The association has sponsored programs centering on education, healthcare, and trade development projects. Future programs are in the areas of economics, arts and culture, and continuing focus on education and healthcare.

Other Projects & Contributions:

  • Organizational and financial support of the “Walk for Rice” annual walkathon to raise fund for ACRS Asian food bank in King County.

  • ​Financial contribution to the Somaly Mam Foundation. A charitable foundation dedicated to ending human trafficking, liberating victims, and empowering survivors.

  • Supported the University of Washington - Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) Partnership. Contributed to tuition and board for visiting Cambodian graduate students in Social Work. Learn more

  • Hosted an Economic Development Conference on Cambodia through a partnership with the Seattle Trade Development Alliance.

The Cambodia Rural School
Raising over $15,000 from the community, corporate sponsors, and matching funds from Asian Development Bank, Sea-Sih funded the building of a new elementary school in Preh Nob (Sihanoukville province). Learn more

Sihanoukville Library & Technology Center
Through private donations and fundraising, Sea-Sih funded the construction of a new library and technology center at the Sihanoukville High School. Ongoing programs included librarian internship and setting up a cataloging system. See album
